Through the Actualise Academy, we tailor programs based on the principle of self-improvement through self-understanding. Neuroscience and Psychological Science form the basis of all of our work, and is a theme which runs through all of our pathways. Empowering individuals is a core principle of our work.
Although all of our work is personalised and tailored for each client, there is a template which run through all programs:
1. Assessments are based on the most recent tools in Psychometrics, Neuroscience and Psychological Science, with plans and goals being clearly defined;
2. Design of interventions is data-driven and tailored in light of assessment results;
3. Tailored interventions are delivered using evidence-based tools and techniques that are validated and well-researched;
4. Results are clearly defined and linked back to plans and goals set out at the assessment phase. We regularly monitor progress and use that data to refine our interventions on an ongoing basis. We employ, where appropriate, 360 feedback, and use this to add value in terms of practical steps for maintenance of gains and momentum.

Peak performance packages focus on resilience and mental agility, key skills in a changing and complex environment. A resilient leader avoids emotion-based reactivity that alienates colleagues and impedes innovative thinking. We build personalised packages for our clients which focuses on personal goals and how they are integrated with the organisational culture and dynamic. Using neuroscience-led practice, we combine optimisation of brain function through Neurofeedback Training with occupational and executive coaching.
+ Working in Teams
Pakages focussed on working in teams draws on organisational and occupational psychology, we helps teams to align their goals and strategy. We enhance communication and team work through clear, practical training and facilitation. We also empower team members to understand how and why teams work well, and link work sytles with an understanding of how our brains work. This reduces stress and inter-group friction - and through this process we allow innovation to flourish.

So how do you equip someone for the unknown?
Empowering the leader with the right psychological, cognitive and emotional skills future-proofs a leader against unpredictability and complexity.
The Actualise Leadership Path is a data-driven 12-week leadership journey designed to enable peak brain performance. Using the latest Neuroscience technology, including the Applied Neuroscience Brain Function Index, as well as the most up to date science in Psychology and Behavioural Analysis, we offer a personalised plan for each leader.
Firstly, through consultation we establish each leader’s personal challenges and goals, then map them to 12 classic brain networks that control certain behaviors. We then train these 12 networks using Neurofeedback Training.
We tailor each training plan to each person, and maintain regular touch points to measure, reflect on and realign the plan as the leader progresses. Each session is measurable through comprehensive 3-D brain mapping, and progress across time can be plotted, interpreted and used to continually refine the training plan to achieve the best results.
This whole process is encapsulated within individual coaching sessions and group workshops, all designed to empower the leader to achieve their optimum performance, and allow their team to do the same.
+ Change Management
The ever-changing environment of 21st century business has become the norm. Our approach to change management is to refine our clients' skill sets to allow them to thrive in this environment. Uncertainty can be daunting but with the right tools, it can be the most fertile ground for innovation and progress.
We help our clients to embrace change and to use it to their advantage. Again, our approach here is to help people understand why change can be daunting - know your enemy! - and then give them the skills to thrive.
But of course each person and organisation is not the same. We personalise each package based on a needs analysis, making sure our solution is the best one for you.
How Do We Do It?
We link all of our material to brain and psychological functioning, focusing on real science, making it tangible, personal, actionable and measurable. All talks focus on understanding our behaviour and our brains. Through self-knowledge we can then achieve self-improvement, and make real gains on our peak performance journey.
A central component of our work is Neurofeedback Training. How does this work? Using visual incentives, like a favourite movie, the target brain networks are activated. If they are operating at suboptimal levels, the movie stops. And so specific parts of the brain become more active in order to keep the movie running. Over 12 weeks brain function in the targeted areas is optimised with long-term results.
Optimal brain performance for leaders is based on brain data from 120 top military and business leaders, each with an IQ of above 120. We track changes in these brain networks enabling precise measurement of actual neuroplastic change in areas of the brain that control certain behaviours. Why Work With Us?
Since 2012, we have worked with 100s of clients, including a range of professionals from many backgrounds, from Medicine to IT Management, Nursing to Law Professionals. In 2016, there were two major upsets in European Sports: Leicester City won the English Premier League, and Connacht Rugby won the Pro12 Rugby League. From January 2015 to May 2016, we worked with 11 players from the core of the Connacht Rugby Team. In our first season, Connacht finished a record 7th place in the Pro12, and of course in 2016 went against all the odds to win the League outright.
